KEFiM welcomes Harry Papasotiriou at his Academic Board! Professor Papasotiriou has a rich career in academia as well as a long experience in the field of International Relations in Greece. Papasotiriou brings with him his liberal work in Greece as he was one of the founders of EKOME (the first liberal think tank in Greece) as well as the translator in Greek of Bastia’s “The Law”.
Who is Professor Papasotiriou:
Harry Papasotiriou is a professor of International Relations and Strategic Studies at the International, European and Regional Studies of Panteion University and is also the President of the Institute of International Relations (IDIS). He graduated with honors from the University of Oxford (School of Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and received his PhD from Stanford University (School of Political Science).
Some of his works include:
Co-author of America Since 1945: The American Moment (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005, second edition 2010).
Other publications include books, academic articles and policy papers on international politics in the twenty-first century, the Balkans since the end of the Cold War, Byzantine grand strategy, American domestic politics and foreign policy since 1945, China, contemporary European security issues and other subjects in international relations and strategic studies.
