KEFiM’s new monthly series of events entitled “Freedom Pages” was successfully inaugurated on Tuesday, 8th of May, at the Markos Dragoumis Cultural Centre, where the members of our Academic board and other academics, scientists and scholars present arguments of basic works of liberal traditions to friends of freedom.
At this first meeting, Professor and member of KEFiM’s Academic board, Panayiotis Evaggelopoulos, presented Adam Smith’s monumentary for liberal thinking and finance Research on the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations (1776): he presented interesting biographical data about the great Scottish intellectual, incorporated his ideas and work with today’s state, and analyzed his importance for both historical ideas and the modern age.
Excited by the response of this new initiative, we will announce in a few days the speaker and subject of our second event.
Keep in mind that KEFiM members and their guests have a priority for booking seats for “Freedom Pages”.
