The Greek Independence day – on 25th of March – is a golden opportunity to reflect on the progress of KEFiM’s most ambitious project. Agenda 2021 on Freedom and Prosperity is a basic pillar in KEFiM’s endeavor to promote the liberal ideas that created a new Greece.

The Agenda’s purpose is the construction of a road map for the implementation of the necessary reforms that enhance prosperity and freedom in every aspect of public life – from education and public administration to taxation and the labor market.

Within this context, we have developed a collaboration with renowned academics, researchers and experts to formulate specific, well founded and quantified policy proposals.

Our specialists are:

● Professor Panayiotis Liargovas, former head of the Parliamentary Budget Office and member of our Academic Board, specializing in fiscal policy affairs.
● Professor Aristides Hatzis, member of our Academic Board, specializing in the rule of law and the legal framework issues.
● Dr. Miranda Xafa, CEO of E.F. Consulting Ltd, senior scholar at the Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and member of our Academic Board, specializing in tax reform issues.
● Professor Panagiotis Karkatsoulis, specializing in public sector and local governance issues.
● Professor Platon Tinios, specializing in labor market and welfare.
● Professor Miltiadis Nektarios, specializing in health policy.
