Panagiotis Evangelopoulos studied at the Economics Department of the University of Athens, where he also completed his postgraduate studies. He gained his Doctorate in Finance with honor from the University of Athens.
He has collaborated with the Centre Jean Baptiste Say in Paris, the Pasific Research Institute in San Francisco and with Cato University’s director, Tom Palmer, at Cato Institute in Washington D.C. He then worked with the Washington D.C.’s Heritage Foundation, the Center for Policy Research and Training and the New Politicy Center.
He is a founding member and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the nonprofit organization “Defense of the Citizen”, of the scientific organization “Athens Adam Smith Club” and has been a member of the non-profit organization “Freedom Network”.

1. What were the reasons you decided to devote your time and support to KEFiM?
KEFIM is the most powerful think tank that supports the philosophy of freedom in all its aspects with scientific work and research.
2. What do you expect KEFiM’s actions will do in the near future?
They should influence and strengthen Greece’s democratic and liberal forces towards a steady course of economic prosperity, protection of individual rights and setting the foundations for a free market and a fair state.
3. What do you think is KEFiM’s most important role as a liberal think tank?
To instill Greece’s society with the principles and values of both classic and modern liberalism.
4. Why would you recommend someone to join KEFIM?
Because KEFIM is perfectly organized with an amazingly efficient administration, very good scientists and partners who are all inspired by the ideals of Freedom.
