A few words about the book from its back cover: “The liberal approach to politics, social relations and the economy stands out because it gives priority to free choice. The great liberal intellectuals, who have embraced and spread the school of thought, wanted the individual to be free when it comes to exercising the right to choose. To achieve this, the liberals wanted to build an Open Society. The emphasis of the liberals on the freedom of individuals, ideas, activities and choices, with tolerance and giving priority to progress, new ideas and perceptions creates equal areas of conflict with other philosophical and political approaches
This introduction to the principles of liberalism presents the basic principles and ideas: tolerance, self-ownership, the rule of law and rights, as they have decisively influenced modern constitutional democracies. But what is the relation between liberal perceptions and the free market and capitalism? How is it linked to criticism of economic liberalism?”.
